About Gradient

For over 35 years, Gradient has designed and manufactured high-performance flat roof insulation systems trusted by the UK's leading architects, specifiers and contractors. Today, that same expertise is unlocking new possibilities far beyond the roofline.

A specialist insulation partner

Gradient is a UK-based designer and manufacturer of bespoke insulation systems, operating under Recticel Insulation UK Ltd. Since our founding, we have built a reputation on doing things properly - individually engineered solutions, manufactured to precise specifications, backed by deep technical expertise and a commitment to getting it right first time.

We work closely with architects, specifiers, developers and contractors across the full project lifecycle. From feasibility and design through to manufacturing, logistics and post-installation support, our turnkey service means clients have a single, accountable point of contact at every stage.

01

Design & specification

Our technical team works with specifiers and contractors from the outset, reviewing drawings, calculating U-values, advising on system compatibility and producing detailed project-specific proposals.

02

Manufacturing & quality control

Every system is manufactured at our Burntwood facility using advanced cutting and fabrication equipment, with full quality assurance and traceability for every component leaving our factory.

03

Delivery & aftercare

Our logistics network delivers nationwide, with a flexible fleet phased to suit contract schedules. We remain on hand throughout the installation and beyond, because a snag-free handover matters as much as the product itself.

Unlocking new applications

Gradient was built on flat roof insulation - and we remain one of the UK's most trusted partner for tapered and flat roof systems. But the precision manufacturing capability, the material science and the technical depth that define us are now finding their place in a much wider range of construction and industrial applications. We're taking the same rigorous, bespoke approach that specifiers rely on for roofs and applying it where high-performance insulation increasingly matters most.
