Challenge

To support the construction of a reliable flat roofing solution for the Imperial War Museum, while achieving a demanding thermal performance target of 0.18 W/m²K as part of the overall roof design.

Gradient's solution

Working in collaboration with Langley, we designed a single‑layer tapered roofing scheme. The solution provided the required thermal performance while supporting effective water drainage and a robust, long‑term flat roof build‑up.
